What Makes Hershey’s Mill Estates So Special – From the Kids

I like where we live because there’s a lot to do. I like to play soccer in the back yard with my Dad. One time a lady who lives here gave me a tennis lesson! And I was only 3! I like to collect sticks in the woods. I liked going on a campout by the pool and roasting marshmallows. I like to play with my friends at the bus stop.

At Halloween we had a party and I had a pumpkin painted on my face. I got to decorate two cookies and eat pizza. Then we went trick or treating. I was a knight. I didn’t like the costumes that were scary, but I got lots of candy! It was fun. There are a lot of parties in my neighborhood.

My name is Nicole and I am six years old. I moved the Hershey’ Mill Estates with my Mom and Dad when I was two. I liked the flowers and the trees. My days were filled with new people at the pool. The pool was warm and a great place to meet nice people. My brother was born in September. We enjoy our beautiful yard and seeing animals. It is peaceful and quiet here. From our kitchen window, we watch deer, bunnies and birds play.

There is also so much to do at Hershey’s Mill Estates. Some of the things we do in Spring are play tennis and ride bikes. Last year, I planted flowers at the circle with my Dad and neighbors. In summer, we go to the pool. We like Friday nights at the pool. There are ice cream and pizza parties. Sometimes we have a campout at the pool. I had fun with my brother and Dad. We also have a new neighbors’ party. I helped my parents do the party. Last year some neighbors asked me to water their plants while they were on vacation. In fall, we have a Halloween party. It is outside at the pool with all the families and we do crafts. In winter, we sled with all our friends. We go to so many backyards of our neighbors to sled.

Hershey’s Mill Estates is a beautiful and peaceful place. It is also very fun. I like to laugh with all the people. I like living here.

I like Hershey’s Mill Estates because it has a lot of parties. I like roasting marshmallows at the campouts. Everyone is nice. It is fun to invite my school friends to the pool. Also, everyone keeps it nice and clean. A lot of my friends live here too. I like to play tag with my friends at the bus stop.

The neighborhood is pretty and I feel safe here.

I love our neighborhood because I get to see my friends a lot. My neighbors are very nice. In the summer I learned to swim down at the pool and now I can even jump off the diving board. We had a camp out last summer at the pool. There was a big bonfire and we had marshmallows and hot dogs. We had fun with glow sticks and our flashlights. Even though it was dark outside it was very bright!

The parties in my neighborhood are fun. We had a Halloween party a Christmas party and lots of parties at the pool. We just had an Easter egg hunt too.

I took my first tennis lessons at our tennis courts. The teacher was very nice and she lives right in our neighborhood! I can’t wait to play again.

There’s lots of beautiful nature in our neighborhood. I’ve seen blue birds, woodpeckers, goldfinch and chickadees. Sometimes we even see fox and deer. The grass grows green every summer and in the fall the leaves change to beautiful colors. I like to go on nature walks down to the pond and through the woods. On my way, I see colorful flowers and bushes with blossoms.

I like living here. We looked at a lot of houses, but I’m glad this is the one we chose.

I like Hershey’s Mill Estates because everyone is friendly. And it has a pool, a playground and a lot of other things. Also, the pool is in great condition, and we have great lifeguards. Most of my friends live here too. Almost everyone goes to the same school, so you can see your friends at school too. We have a lot of very fun parties on Halloween, Christmas, Easter, the Fourth of July, and stuff like that.

Also, we have campouts at the pool almost every year. I also like Hershey’s Mill because everyone keeps the neighborhood nice and clean. That’s why I like my home!
